Once upon a time, a long time ago before the dawn of time, Wolverley Carnival came into being.
​
Notwithstanding a short break in the late 20th Century, it has taken place annually​ on the first Saturday in July raising in excess of £18,000 for the community since 1995.
Below are some pictures of Wolverley Carnival from almost 50 years ago in 1964.
This year's Carnival will take place on Saturday
